Our guest speaker Linda Connor is widely acknowledged as one of the most important photographers of her generation. She has had more than 70 one-person shows around the world, and her work can be found in major collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Chicago Art Institute, the Getty Museum, SFMOMA, and our own SJMA. She is a Guggenheim Fellow, recipient of multiple NEA grants and, numerous awards, She has taught at the San Francisco Art Institute since 1969.

Linda’s long and distinguished career has taken her all over the globe in search of subjects for her spiritually infused, luminous photographs.
