Finally, after several weeks of training on Zoom our trainees completed their final presentations and were ready to meet each other in person. Giada Conte arranged a picnic for us at Bowers Park in Santa Clara. Mentors Lisa Dearborn, Carrie Ross, Liana Salikhova, Lotte Van de Walle, Giada Conte, and Marcia Klein joined in the fun. Our president Susan Curtin, Vice-President Tony Misch, Toby Fernald, and Barb Nelson were also on hand to greet our new members. Louise Persson and Cathy Fraser, our Training co-chairs provided the lunch. It was an enjoyable afternoon. We all can't wait for the next event.
