We ended 2022 with a fabulous Holiday Party in the Museum's Wendel Center. The theme was, "There's no Place like Gnome for the Holidays." Ivonne Calzadilla-Gomez, our new Hospitality chair, along with her holiday helpers Julia Jacobson and Inna Razakhova, outdid themselves with the decorations, games and art activity. Our lunch was catered by El Cafecito; it was very delicious and plentiful.

The trivia game about Gnomes was tricky---no one was able to get all of the answers right. The hardest question was: What do you call a lady Gnome? Answer: Gnomide. Anyone play the game "Heads up?" Ivonne gave us an art version of this game. You form teams then one person holds a card on his/her head and try to guess the name of the artist. We had a winner at each table; the prize was a nice bottle of wine. We each got a bag with pieces to make our very own gnome. Thank you so much Ivonne and team for creating a fun-filled afternoon with our fellow docents.
