Our turnover board meeting was held at Barbara Nelson's home in San Jose June 18th.  Tony officially handed over the gavel to our incoming President, Louise Persson after a brief business meeting.  Much thanks to our continuing and out going board members for their dedication and hard work keeping LLAA running smoothly.  We would also like to thank Kelsey Rieger the San Jose Museum of Art Manager of K-12 curriculum and look forward to working with her this coming year.

We had a good turnout for our meeting but missed several members of our board who were unable to attend. They were: Lisa Traveler who will come on the board as Secretary. Laurel Lee, our Portfolio Chair, Alka Pradhan, our Membership Chair. Tricia Hill, co-chair of our AITD Committee. Jody Foster, co-chair of our Continuing Ed Committee and Mary Perry our Newsletter Chair.  Elisabeth Bonnett and Carol Wynne were not able to attend our board meeting but they will be co-chairs of our Hospitality Committee next year.

Continuing board members who attended the meeting were: Suman Ganapathy who will continue as Vice President; Sherry Tsai will remain as Treasurer and co-chair of our Marketing committee.  Lotte Van de Walle will continue as our Marketing co-chair. Toby Fernald, AITD co-chair.  Tony Misch retires as President but has taken on the role of Training Chair and Suman Ganapathy as co-chair of our Continuing Ed. Committee.  Carrie Ross will remain as Historian and  Barbara Nelson is continuing on as Coordinator and Webmaster.

We are delighted to welcome our new board members: Louise Persson our incoming President.  Beth Herner will come on to the board as Parliamentarian.  Joseph Coha will help Barbara with the Website and two members of our new Hospitality Committee;  Debbie Earl, and Pamela Ryallis-Boyd.

Also attending the meeting were Lisa Dearborn and Christy Cali who did an awesome job last year as Training chair and Parliamentarian.  We will miss them on the board.
