Lisa Dearborn, in her role as Docent Council President, organized a field trip for LLAA docents to Villa Montalvo.

Attendees included Marcia Klein, Jennifer MacGougan, Amy Mears, Carol Wynne, Beth Herner, Laurel Lee, Linda Cortinas, Diane Levinson, Coleen Papalias, Elisabeth Bonnet, Tony Misch, and Joseph Coha.

The group toured "When the World is Beautifully Strange," an exhibition featuring mostly ceramic sculptures by twelve contemporary artists displayed throughout Montalvo’s grounds and in the Cottage Gallery. Kelly Sicat (Director, Lucas Artists Program), Judy Koong Dennis (Assistant Curator), and Shannon Stearns (Art Education Programs Manager) hosted the event.
